Melissa joined Independent Retirement Consulting in 2011 with multiple years of experience and background in plan design, annual administration and consulting.
Melissa began her career in retirement plan administration in 1985 with Standard Insurance Company. She subsequently worked for a variety of well known third party administrative firms as a plan analyst and consultant including Deloitte and Touche, Stonewall Pension Services and most recently National Associates.
Melissa graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, marketing emphasis. She was awarded the W.H. Shields Business Administration Scholarship for scholastic achievement while at the U of O. Her interests include figure skating, which she has taught professionally.
